Ding dong! The doorbell rings and all of a sudden, there are Rico, Roy and Yara on the doorstep. That’s what happened to the winners of the sport campaign in which
NOC*NSF and Dutch supermarket Albert Heijn joined forces during National Sports Week with a campaign entitled ‘Proef de Sport’ (a taste of sport). The idea was to get Dutch people to play more sport and focus on healthy eating in an enjoyable way. To highlight this, the Van Dam family were pleasantly surprised one morning with a healthy sports breakfast and a sporty workout.

Fortunately, the sports season has started up again. The fact that sports clubs had to close their doors for a long time due to COVID-19 makes now the ideal time for people to discover (or rediscover) sport.
For some people, the name took some getting used to at first. But the Keuken Kampioen Division (Keuken Kampioen means ‘kitchen champion’ and is the name of a Dutch kitchen suppliers) has since become a household name in Dutch football. It’s a spectacular competition that serves as a stepping stone towards national and international top-level football.

Willem II wins the Eredivisie Shirt Festival
After 674,175 likes and 162,264 votes from the public, it was up to the professional jury, consisting of Frank Evenblij, Arno Kantelberg, Victoria Koblenko, Jan Joost van Gangelen and Sjoerd Mossou, to determine the winner. They chose the shirt worn by Willem II from 1958/1959 as the most attractive Eredivisie shirt ever.

Together with the Eredivisie, Fox Sports, Santos and the AD, we have launched the Eredivisie Shirt Festival, an ode to 64 years of Dutch football history, starting with an online ballot supported by all Dutch professional clubs. It’s a poll for the most beautiful Eredivisie shirt ever.
Kiki Bertens chooses Peugeot
Peugeot Nederland has committed itself to sponsoring the Netherlands’ best tennis player, Kiki Bertens. Bertens is going to be part of the successful Peugeot NextGen Lions tennis programme that was launched in 2018. This collaboration will start during the WTA Finals.
Heel Helmond Sport
The prospect of a new stadium was what inspired Helmond Sport to start up a campaign aimed at helping local people to become more focussed on sports and a healthy lifestyle, all under the Dutch title ‘Heel Helmond Sport’, which means ‘everyone is Helmond is playing sport’ .
